Photo Manipulation
Here’s a gig i did to help a friend. Him being him, is only just beginning to learn Photoshop, so he came to me seeking help to get his “vision” out onto paper. He’s a really fast learner though, just like alot of us are..and he’ll soon surpass my skills with Photoshop hehe. I thoroughly enjoyeddd working with him, talking to him to help him realize his envisioned art, and he too had a great time working with me.
The final pieces i made, is proof of how much fun we had while working. He showed these pieces to “his boss” (lol) and “the boss”, according to my friend, could not find and figure out which part was “fake” and which part of the image was “duped”. Zoom in and squint as much as he did, he just couldn’t figure it out.
So when i hear such strong feedback about my work, from a professional (although it wasnt direct feedback), it makes me feel accomplished and that i know i am heading in the right direction.
Just remember, knowing a tool does not make you a great artist.
These ‘masterpieces’ i have here would not be here if it wasn’t for my friend. He provided the thoughts/ideas/concept, i provided the technical skills. Collaboration at it’s finest.
Below, was a seperate project. Same thing, i provide the technical skills needed to help realize the vision of the artist, the artist provide me with art to work with.
