Hello there,
Thank you for the review, I was seriously considering buying this monitor for my photographic needs.
Seems like it's the right one for me.

I'm just curious though, what music did you use for the video review?
Sounds really great.

Once again, thank you for the effort you put in!

I had this monitor for a few months now and have it hooked up to my pc (Dvi), 360 (hdmi), and ps3 (hdmi). It works fine on all of them and I can confirm that if you set the monitor to Full mode it will distort the image vertically on the 360 and ps3 to fill the screen. Instead of using Full mode I use the Aspect ratio mode which displays black bars on the top and bottom of the screen, but does not distort the image. It is not a big deal for me personally, but if that sort of thing would annoy you it is something to take into account with this monitor. Overall this monitor suits my needs, I wanted a pc monitor as I have a small bedroom and 24 inches is great for it, and having all of my gaming done on the same screen. If you want a computer monitor that can also be used with gaming consoles with good image quality then this isn't a bad choice.

Aparently he tested Fat Princess. From what I understand it's not a game with heavy graphics, so the monitor can stretch easily to 1200 without distorting.
What I want to see is for example GTA IV. Can anybody test that and put picture or movies on the web?
Somebody test this monitor on real games, please!!

Hi Sam,

I have just bought a Dell U2410 and put the same wallpaper on and I too have very different results to you. The colours are quite different compared to the screencaps you have on your site. The whites on my monitor are a bit off. Would you mind sharing your settings in terms of colour mode, gamma, etc?

Thanks,
John

Hello. I just got the Dell U2410 and have been playing around with the color settings. I'm currently using the sRGB preset color mode. What color mode or settings were you using when you took the photos of the viewing angles? I put the same wallpaper on and compared and my colors were very different.

There is one strange thing i'm noticing... the bottom of the screen looks a shade darker. eg: on this site with the white background, looking at the top of screen it looks normal but looking at the lower part of screen the white looks slightly yellowish. Any idea? I'm looking at it front on - no angle or anything.

One thing I don't like is the reflection from the bottom frame. They shouldn't have indented the screen so much.
